Trip to the Tetons

After the baptism we joined most of Jenn's side of the family for a trip up to the Tetons.  We stayed in a beautiful house there for a week.  We took a trip to a hot spring pool and had some fun with our waterproof camera.

 The view from our house.

The boys took up fishing!  Scott made the first catch!
The next morning we work up early and brought the boys to teach them how.

It was a little chilly but we had a blast!

 Connor catching his first fish!
Unfortunately right after this pic the fish jumped off the line and back into the water.

We took a nice hike toward devils staircase.
 Our boys and their cousins.
 Our family hiking.
 Katie's family.

 Passing  some rapids.
We cut our hike short because we found this nice deer's hoof right along the trail.  It is sign of bears in the area so we decided to turn back.

Dennis caught a fish too, but a little too small.
 Cool view!
 Sweet sweet sleeping baby!
Me and Haydn hanging out in the back seat!
 The Teton's are just gorgeous!
We went canoeing one afternoon on Jenny Lake.  They boys all got a ride.  It was a highlight of the trip.

We went hiking a little more too.
 We celebrated my mom's birthday.
 Katie and Connor being silly!

While we were in Idaho we went to visit the graves of my Grandpa Hall and his parents.
It was an amazing trip!

Connor's baptism!

After school a lot of our family came into town to celebrate with us.  We had a very full crazy house!  It was so much fun.  Here's some pics of the kids hanging with their cousins.

We had a super special boy turn 8 this year.  In our faith, the children are allowed to be baptized after they are 8 because at that age they know enough about right and wrong that they can be fully accountable for their actions.  Connor contemplated this thoughtfully and decided he wanted to be baptized and become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We are so proud of him.

I did a fun photo shoot of Connor in his Sunday best to put on some invitations I sent out.

Archer was blessed on the same day!  Here he is in his cute tux!
 Our family before the baptism.

Daddy and his boys in white!  So cute!
People in attendance were:
