Connor at the Trolley Museum on Christmas Eve eve!

We took Connor to the Connecticut Trolley Museum on Christmas Eve eve. We saw lots of lights and got to ride on some trolleys! They even had the open trolley running because of the unseasonably warm weather. Here are some pictures - enjoy!

Setting Up Christmas

We decorated for Christmas just after the Thanksgiving holiday. Connor loved helping put up the nativity and decorate the tree. This is going to be a special Christmas because Connor is really getting into all the traditions that surround it. We can't wait until Scott's finals are over, then Christmas will really begin! Merry Christmas everyone!

Connor With His New Pets!

These cute, little, furry friends of ours just came to our home a few days ago. We were actually contemplating getting a guinea pig for Connor for Christmas and then we ran into both a cage and the guinea pigs for free so it was a hard opportunity to pass up. They came as fast friends so we just couldn't split them up. Connor loves them, especially now that they are getting used to their new environment and aren't as skittish.
We have names for them too. The first one (mostly brown) you see is Lucy. She's the ring leader and she's always the first to hatch a plan. The whiter one is Ethel. She tags along and follows Lucy, she's much more skittish too. Connor loves to be called their "Daddy" as he takes care of them like his Daddy takes care of him. He makes sure we give them an orange every morning and the guinea pigs always eat that first.
We're excited to have this new addition. These aren't technically our first pets since we have fish, but they are definitely more exciting and more work.
