Aquarium Trip

This weekend we visited an aquarium.  It was awesome because it was right off the beach and a lot of their animals they caught themselves and are researching them and protecting endangered species.  The coolest part was the tide pool they had so we could touch starfish, sea anenomies, and sea urchins.  They had lots of other cool animals to see too.  Check it out!

There was also a salt marsh next to the aquarium that you could go see.  They had a scavenger hunt for the kids and we saw some cool birds.  Here's a blue heron.

Mother's Day

I had a nice Mother's Day.  Connor gave me a nice letter and a flower pen and notebook.

Haydn created a map for me that included the wrld full of osines(world with oceans), the USA, Texis...
a Blac Hole, plannit plootoe, and...
Afrucu(Africa).  He also gave me a dollar from his allowance!  He had been telling me for weeks that he was going to give me a dollar and he was so proud to.  He made me a nice card in primary too.
Scott got me a nice jewelry box too and made me a pancake dinner We have church early, and an infant that is up too early for him to have done breakfast in bed unless he wanted to get up at 5am to get it ready.  I let him pass on that one, dinner was fine!
Here's me and my 4 little boys.  I'm the luckiest mom in the world!

Fire Service Day

Our town had a fire service day and opened up one of their fire stations for a day of fun.  We got to see them light and put out a fire, and use a ladder on a fire truck.  Also the kids got to climb in the fire trucks and check them out too.  They had so much fun.

You might notice we have 5 kids now.  The sweet girl you see is Ashton.  She and her mom are staying with us for a bit and she is often tagging along with us.  She's my pretend daughter, as close as I'll ever get.

A little catch-up AGAIN

We've been very busy at our house- apparently too to blog, sorry.  I'll try to catch you up with some of the pictures in the last couple months.  There are a lot so here we go...

Here's a pic of me and my sweet Archer on a day our clothes matched.
We've been trying to potty train Tristan.  He's making progress but he's not quite there yet.
We've been going to the beach on every warm Saturday and we LOVE it!

The last time we went Tristan finally realized that the water wasn't all that bad and that he could fill up his bucket when the waves would come up.  He would fill it up then go dump it out where the shore was dry and come fill it again...over and over and over.  A couple times he went out too far and the combination of a heavy full bucket and the waves pulling him as he tried to stand up would make him struggle to stay on his feet and he'd stumble and fall on his face.  He'd look nervous and then jump up, take a quick break and be right at it again.  For the record, I was right next to him and I'd catch him if I could but it was hilarious to watch.  Oh to be that little that the waves overpower you completely.  So cute!

Here's Archer some of my favorite little outfits.  His little smile is to die for and he's starting to giggle at us too which is so great.
In the morning as we are getting ready and eating I often lay Archer on the floor.  If I don't pay attention and he gets too bored he'll just fall asleep right there.  He's so sweet when he's all sprawled out like that.
One night we went to check on our boys and found Haydn and Tristan were camped out on the floor like this.  They had no recollection of it so they must have both rolled out of bed.  I think they planned it though, so funny.
