Haydn's First Steps

Our littlest angel is taking his first steps these days. He's had the balance and ability for a long time but had decided that crawling was far faster and easier. Because he's already gotten so good at standing he's going to be a pro at walking soon, I know it! I'm so proud of Haydn. He's always been one to do things on his own schedule. I love to watch my kids grow and learn new talents. Connor buttoned 4 buttons this morning with no complaints! That's a big feat too! I love my boys!

Cutie Pies

I thought the boys looked cute today so I thought I'd do a photo shoot. These are my happy boys! I am so glad they are part of my life!

Here's Haydn in all his cuteness! I love those big brown eyes! He's taking a few steps now and then but mostly he just stands. He's got great balance and can stand for minutes even with a toy he's manipulating in his hands.


Cute Connor! He did something (I'm not telling you what) that he thought was hilarious and I got a bunch of candid laughing shots of him. He's got such a great laugh-it makes me want to tickle him all day!

Here's the boys playing hide and seek in the curtains. Normally I don't allow this but Haydn was loving it so much I had to take pics instead.

Haydn Snores

Haydn had a long day of playing at the museum and on the way home we just couldn't keep him awake. I think he looks so cute all bundled in his coat in his car seat. It makes those chubby cheeks show more than normal! I love this cutie!

Dinosaurs at the Children's Museum

Our children's museum opened up a new exhibit called Excavation Station. It had moving dinosaurs and a place for the kids to dress up and then be paleontologists and brush off bones. There were also fish, an alligator and a scorpion on display. There were places to learn about different rocks and how the continents move. It was really fun.

Haydn's First Birthday!

Happy Birthday Haydn. I can't believe it has been a whole year since this little guy entered our lives. What a sweetie he is. He is full of energy and always ready to explore. He loved his cake. He knew EXACTLY what it was and wasted no time digging in to it. He enjoyed all his presents too! He got a phone that makes noise and lights up, a shape sorter, a train that is made up of blocks, and a spiderman shirt (from his proud big brother)! Haydn, we love you! Haydn's Masterpiece

We went to the public library tonight for FHE. Haydn decided he wanted to TYPE, which he did with gusto. He apparently discovered some keyboard shortcuts I never knew existed; he even figured out how to insert a random graphic!

Jenn's New Haircut

It also meant that I couldn't get away with putting two candles in each of a dozen donuts - one had to have three candles!
