4 Boys

Here's some cute pictures of the brotherly love going on at my house.  Aren't you jealous that I get to be with these cuties everyday and you don't!  I'm in LOVE with my little men!

Time with Nana

After my family left, Scott's mom came to stay for a couple weeks.  We had such fun with her.  We got to celebrate Haydn's birthday the way he wanted to...an afternoon at the beach in honor of him.

Sailing a boat down a canal we made.
 Where's the tiny baby?
Relaxing with snacks on the beach.

Unfortunately Tristan got sick right after the beach and so we didn't get to go out much during the week.  On the weekend we decided to go on a grand adventure and take a bus tour of Hollywood.  We started on the Walk of Fame.  Our favorite footprints were, Harry Potter and friends, Star Wars characters and Twilight actors.

Doctors and Stitches

We made a couple doctor visits recently for our February birthday babies.  Archer at 2 weeks weighed in at 8lbs 6 oz.  He looked perfect and was already gaining weight so the doctor said we didn't need to come back until he's 2 months old.  Haydn also got his 5yr old check up.  He weighed in at 41lbs 6oz and 43in tall.  He's in the 50% for both height and weight, officially the smallest of my boys.  He's 7 lbs lighter than Connor was at his age and about 4 inches shorter (Connor was off the charts in both).  Haydn was bright and perfect too, no worries.
During the 3 days between my mom and sister leaving and my mother-in-law coming we had an emergency situation (our first!).  Haydn had to get stitches in his chin, 10 in all, after slipping trying to get out of the tub.  It was HORRIBLE!  He hated being strapped down and SCREAMED the whole time.  Here's a picture of his bloodshot face.  The red blotches lasted for days.  I felt so sorry for him.  When he had to have them taken out he was the picture of brave though.  He was so patient and calm.  It made me so proud.  I had been dreading it but he was awesome.

Family and a Funeral

When Archer was born we were lucky enough to have my sister here with us to watch our big boys. We got to spend a couple great weeks with them. Even with some sick kids we had lots of fun with them and Katie was such a big help. Here is Ben holding his newest cousin.
And Archer getting lots of brother love.

Unfortunately, 2 days after Archer was born we got word my Grandpa died.  My sister and I waited a couple more days for my Mom to come and then we packed up all the kids and drove up to Sacramento to be with my Grandma and my aunts for the funeral.  It wasn't all sad though.  We had lots of fun too.
Here's Connor with my cousin Jon

Getting to share Archer with all my family was a big blessing.  Here's my aunts Pam and Debbie enjoying him.
Here's a bunch of my cousin hanging out.
Some of my aunts and uncles took my big boys on a 9 mile hike to see a waterfall.  They had a blast and came home happy and tired.

Our little ones like baths together.  Here's Tristan and cousin Ben.
More brotherly love.

Climbing across some roped in my aunt Pam's backyard...here are my brave climbers...

Even my Harrison grandparents got to meet Archer when they came for the funeral.
Here's all my mom's grandsons...6 cute boys...in matching ties after the funeral.
James is my sister's other boy.  He was so sick most of her trip but finally got to hold Archer on the last day.
This is Tristan and my uncle Jon.  He calls him grandpa because he has gray hair like his real grandpa.  They must look enough alike, my Dad and Jon are brothers.
Here's my mom with her newest grandson.
Going on a big trip 5 days after having Archer wasn't really the plan but it all worked out.  Aside from the sadness of the funeral it was really fun and good to see all my extended family.
