On Friday we hiked through Waimea Valley Audubon Center. The hike was pretty easy; it was about .8 miles on a paved trail without any steep grades. There were, of course, beautiful birds to see, and the scenery was fantastic! The best part, however, was the waterfall at the end of the hike.

Visitors are allowed to swim in the pool at the base of the waterfall!
Grandma and Haydn decided not to swim.
