Celebrating Fourth of July

We kicked off the Fourth of July with a water balloon fight. As soon as we started all the neighborhood kids came out to join us. They used the balloons as fast as we could make them. All the kids had tons of fun! Water balloons are a hit. As a kid, we used to have neighborhood water balloon fights on Independence Day. One side of the street would team up against the other and it was great fun! Just keeping the tradition alive!
Fireworks are a must, so of course we did them. Connor was tired but enjoyed it for a while, especially when his friends, the neighbors, were around.Sparkler heaven. These are great for kids. Haydn liked to watch them. Connor liked to swing them and even throw them(that only happen once and was quickly followed by an explanation of why that was NOT ok!)
